Lavori in Corso 2008-2009 proposes a hopeful outlook to counteract the fear and melancholy that invade the subjects, organisations and institutions of the so-called welfare society that leaves us increasingly disappointed, frustrated, worried, orphans of the future and the past.
... we are continuing on a path of soul care that places at its centre a strong idea of humanism and beauty.
Humanism as care for the humus from which life originates. Life and man's ability to preserve it, but also to expand it and plan it, seems to be at stake in a world in shambles and in search of new meanings: as Marcus Aurelius already taught us, caring for oneself and for others presupposes reflection and a search for harmony with the cosmos and therefore for meaning for oneself and for others.
The cosmetics of relationships is therefore not an action of embellishment, but a concrete response to "nihilism", it is a search for the art of living (téchne tou biou) as the Greeks used to say, it is a system of actions according to measure.
We have invited men and women of thought and action as companions along this path, asking each one to narrate how in their own field - business, social, health, art, theatre - they take care of "the world".
