As is well known, the Covid-19 pandemic has generated several and countless effects on the world of work.
One of the major ongoing consequences in Italy, but even more so in the rest of the world (especially in America), is the so-called Great Resignation, that is, the significant mass increase in voluntary resignations. Underlying the decision and subsequent action to leave one's job are a wide variety of causes: from the search for a place that provides value and safeguards well-being, to burnout, to the desire to preserve the work-life balance.
Among the factors that helped trigger this event, , the pandemic probably played a major role by profoundly changing people's expectations of work, reevaluating and reassigning importance and priority to other elements of life.
